Enrique Gardano’s journey with music began in his native Cuba, flourished in Spain, and rose to
full maturity in the US – where he presently resides. His unique musical interpretative style is born
of an intensive technical musical education combined with an innately curious disposition,
seasoned by years of performing in different venues and environments.
Diversity and sophistication are the earmarks of his style. Having a strong musical education
(Masters Degree in Music from the University of Miami and Doctoral Studies at State University of
New York at Stony Brook) has afforded him the technical expertise to be able to master
techniques in Classical, Jazz, and Rock. This eclecticism is not common in today’s world of
stereotypical marketing categories that place every artist in a box. Enrique has been able to dig
deeply into each of these worlds and commands a high level of performance in these fields.
